Marcella Woiczik, M.D., grew up in Buffalo, New York. She attended college at John Carroll University, then medical school at the University of Toledo. Her residency training was at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at the University of Utah/Shriners Children's Salt Lake City. When she started the fellowship, she quickly realized what a special place Utah is to live and work. She was determined to stay at Shriners Children's Salt Lake City with a fabulous team of physicians and colleagues as her "work family", and hasn't looked back in the 13+ years she has been here.
Dr. Woiczik is married with two step-children and two Labrador Retrievers. She and her family like being outside as much as possible and enjoying the natural beauty of the mountains year-round. Running, exercising and hiking with their pups are her favorite ways to enjoy time away from work.
