Kelvin Lau, M.D., MPH, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist with expertise in electrophysiology (arrhythmia management). He has been committed to caring for children with special medical needs ever since he was a research assistant in a child psychiatry clinic as a college student at the University of Pennsylvania. He pursued his interest in family and community health through the Harvard School of Public Health while simultaneously studying medicine at Yale University. Prior to embarking on his career as a pediatric cardiologist, Dr. Lau completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Today, Dr. Lau cares for his patients as if they were his own and considers it a privilege to work at Shriners Children's. He strives to partner with patients and families to ensure the best care possible.

In his free time, this father-of-three from Massachusetts enjoys hanging out with his daughters and foreign travel.
