Daphne Vander Roest, M.D., is a pediatric hospitalist in Chicago, Illinois. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Michigan and completed residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago. She is passionate about the care of patients with complex medical needs and enjoys consulting with surgeons and other pediatric subspecialists to create strong multidisciplinary care teams. She enjoys working at Shriners Children's to ensure that patients receive the best possible care during often very stressful times prior to, or after surgery.
In her spare time, you will find her running, walking, or biking on the lakefront path with her family.
