Daniel Bouton, M.D., has wanted to become an orthopedic surgeon for as long as he can remember. His father was an engineer, and Dr. Bouton saw orthopedics as the perfect marriage between medicine and engineering. The design and function of the musculoskeletal system has always fascinated him. Within orthopedics, he believes pediatrics was a natural fit. His wife is a pediatrician, and they share a passion for taking care of children from infancy to adolescence.
Children with musculoskeletal issues have simple and reasonable requests from their orthopedic surgeon. They want to be able to play with their friends, they want to be able to pursue their passions without limitations and they want to be able to wake up in the morning without pain. The inherent motivation of children to just want to enjoy their childhood is inspiring to Dr. Bouton, and he is honored to help them achieve their goals.
In his spare time, Dr. Bouton enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and their two dogs. They enjoy taking advantage of all the Pacific Northwest has to offer: skiing, hiking, golfing, the beach, the mountains and so much more.
