Alfred A. Mansour III, MD

  • Orthopaedic Surgery
Languages Spoken:
  • English

Alfred Mansour, M.D., had early exposure to orthopedic surgery from the patient's perspective after sustaining multiple injuries and returning to sports for his youth and collegiate sports career. This exposure fueled Dr. Mansour's interest in medicine, specifically orthopedic surgery. His interest solidified during medical school and his residency training, where he realized treating children with orthopedic conditions brought true joy into his work. This feeling led him to choose fellowships in pediatric orthopedics and combine his interest in sports by training in a second fellowship in sports medicine. During those two years, his interest and experience in hip preservation blossomed opportunities that have allowed him to develop his expertise in both comprehensive hip preservation and sports medicine.

His experience at the collegiate level of athletics, as a competitor and physician, gives him a unique perspective in caring for high-level athletes of all ages.

Dr. Mansour loves the mission of Shriners Children's and his goal has been to deliver unparalleled sports medicine and hip preservation care to children through collaboration with his talented colleagues.
