Annual Fox 40 Toy Drive makes holiday wishes come true

Year after year, FOX40’s annual Toy Drive makes wishes come true for patients at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California.

Between Nov. 30 and Dec. 11, FOX40 invited families to drop off unwrapped toys at participating Big O Tires locations throughout Northern and Central California – Stockton, Modesto and Sacramento. The haul of toys will arrive at the Northern California Shriners Hospital, located in Sacramento, between 8 – 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 18. A live broadcast of the spectacular delivery of toys will air on the FOX40 Morning Show. Hospital staff will receive the gifts that are sure to provide a holiday to remember for patients and their families.

“The FOX40 Toy Drive is something we look forward to every year during the holiday season,” said Director of Development Alan Anderson. “FOX40 helps us remind people that we are here for children, even during the holidays. Thetoys they deliver bring Christmas morning joy and smiles and go on to make birthday wishes come true all year long.”

In a year that’s been tougher than most and has brought many challenges, FOX40 partnered with Big O Tires, iHeart Media and The Dog and Joe Show to ensure their tradition of giving back to children carried on.
